Platform Systems Manufacturing Engineer
Join the Boeing Company in the Air Dominance Platform Systems organization located in St. Louis, MO to support advanced fixed-wing platforms such as the F-15EX Eagle, F / A-18 Super Hornet, and T-7A Redhawk. This role offers a career opportunity to support armament, crew system / escape, electrical, equipment install, fuel, hydraulics, landing gear, mechanisms, and thermodynamics systems for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and international customers.
Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
- Act as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build.
- Implement manufacturing plans and investigate technical problems.
- Implement Lean principles and technologies; interface with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge, and experience.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, manufacturing engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.2+ years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, summarizing findings, then developing conclusions and making recommendations from appropriate data sources.Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.Experience with aerospace build plan knowledge and value stream integration.Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering disciplines.Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support.Strong written and oral communication skills.Location

Pay range : Level 2 $75,650 – $102,350; Level 3 $90,100 – $121,900.
