About The Position

Operating Room RN

Duration : 13-26 weeks

Shift : Saturday, Sunday, Monday

Hours per Shift : Saturday / Sunday 0700 to 1930, Monday 0630 to 1900

Experience : Must have strong neurosurgery experience.

License : Kansas RN license required.

Certifications : BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Must-Have : No first-time travelers accepted.

Description :

RNs will be involved in a wide range of surgical cases, from routine to urgent and trauma procedures.

Responsibilities will include both pre-operative and post-operative care.

The traveler must be confident handling emergency neurosurgery independently.

On-call schedule could include up to two 7-11 shifts per month and two 7p-7a shifts per month.

Holiday call is one working call per year, usually eight hours each.

The electronic medical record system used is Epic.
