Job Description
The University of Tennessee Department of General Dentistry is, seeking a full-time tenure or non-tenure track Open rank Professor and Chair Professor of General Dentistry within the College of Dentistry position includes providing oversight and strategic direction in the areas of clinical simulation and clinical content within the dental school pre-doctoral curriculum. The Department oversees the AEGD program and its external sites. The position requires the development and implementation of organizational strategies and policies. The successful candidate for this position will be a strong leader possessing the ability to identify and implement best practices, think strategically, plan for the long-term success of the college and effectively delegate tasks and foster a positive work environment and culture. The Chair works closely with the Associate and Assistant Deans & other department Chairs within the College of Dentistry.

EDUCATION : DDS or DMD (or equivalent) from an ADA-accredited institution.
EXPERIENCE :
LICENSES : Eligibility for dental licensure in Tennessee (TN dental license must be secured prior to employment).
