Overview

Commercial Sales Engineer - Mountain West is a remote role with occasional travel to customer sites and internal events. Location : Colorado, Washington, or Oregon. Reports to the Commercial Sales Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and delivering technical product presentations to prospective customers
  • Gathering customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet customer goals and needs
  • Leading product evaluations and custom product configurations
  • Designing evaluation test plans with customers and guiding the process to successful outcomes

Qualifications

  • Minimum : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems integrator

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with small to medium sized business accounts, or enterprise accounts in networking or cybersecurity
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting routing and switching products
  • Demonstrated proactive learning orientation and ability to adapt to new challenges

    • Compensation & Benefits

    The base salary range listed for this full-time position is $105,000 - $150,000 USD and excludes commissions / bonus / equity (if applicable) plus benefits. Base Pay Range may vary by location and experience.
