  • Setting : Hospital-based

Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics

Daily Volume : 50-70 reads / day

Board Certification : Radiology - Required

Years of Experience : Minimum 3 years required

Modalities Required

  • General CT

    • General MRI

    General X-Ray

    IR Procedures

    Fluoroscopy

    When not performing procedures / fluoro, physician will read from general worklist (inpatient, outpatient, STATs). Procedures (Mostly Diagnostic with Some IR)

  • CT / US-guided procedures : abscess drainages, biopsies (lung, liver, kidney, thyroid FNA), nephrostomy tube placements / exchanges

    • Chest tubes, lumbar punctures, myelograms, suprapubic catheter placements

    PICC lines, ports, dialysis catheter placements

    All fluoro exams

    Approx. 12 IR procedures / week and 10 fluoro cases / week

    Systems Used

  • PACS : AGFA EI

    • Voice Recognition : PowerScribe 360

    EMR : Epic

    Requirements

  • State License : Ohio (Required)

    • Certifications : ACLS - Required

    BLS - Required
