Job Description

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time in LOS ANGELES, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the facility to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters within the logistics and distribution environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
