Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in an intensive care setting while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the ICU, providing prehensive nursing care
  • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and update patient care plans
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment used in intensive care units
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and recovery processes
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Current and valid RN license with critical care (ICU) nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills in an ICU environment
  • Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Proficient in using medical and monitoring equipment specific to critical care
  • Excellent munication and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience in acute care or ICU preferred
