Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech / Media Front Desk in Alpharetta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-oriented location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing a welcoming presence and supporting security-related protocols. Your role will focus on monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining detailed logs to help to deter incidents. Through strong communication and exceptional customer service, you will contribute to a positive environment, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while acting with integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a professional manner.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for individuals entering and / or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site policies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, employees, and visitors to address questions, provide information, and offer assistance as needed.
  • Handle packages and deliveries arriving at the front desk, following location-specific procedures for receipt, documentation, and / or distribution.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuation procedures when appropriate, collaborating with site staff and local authorities as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
