A Network Administrator is a skilled and detail-oriented individual who is a confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, and in some cases developing communication networks within and between our organization to ensure high availability and optimal performance for users including staff, clients, and suppliers.

Network and Security Scope
Candidates must be proficient in managing and securing the following network types and technologies :

Position Responsibilities Include
Maintain the networking environment by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standardsImplement new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environmentMonitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with architects and vendorsInvestigate data network faults in local and wide area environments using multiple sourcesSecure network systems by establishing policies and monitoring accessSupport firewall environments in alignment with current security policiesReport network operational status and manage related projectsCoordinate and upgrade network, storage and server equipment to the latest stable firmware quarterlyConfigure routing and switching equipment, hosted SIP voice services, and basic firewall settingsConfigure and maintain storage and compute systemsProvide remote support for on-site engineers and end users during installationsTroubleshoot and resolve issues during initial installationsManage IP addressing and hosted devices within data centersCollaborate with project management, engineering, and service desk teamsCollect project requirements and design or maintain solutions for internal clientsParticipate in group meetings to share project status and technical solutionsDocument technical support provided on the help deskAssist with technical documentation and quality assuranceSupport software testing and updates where network performance is impactedProvide after-hours helpdesk support, including on-call rotationsMentor junior IT staff and cross-train team membersManage multiple high-priority projects simultaneouslyMaintain clear communication with supervisors regarding project statusesQualified Applicants Will Have
