We are an Electrification Solutions business in the power distribution sector, focused on innovation, performance, and customer-driven solutions. We're seeking a Solutions Marketing Specialist who combines strategic marketing acumen with deep industry insight. This role is central to shaping and promoting our medium and low voltage solutions portfolio, identifying market opportunities, and executing go-to-market strategies that drive growth and customer success.

T he work model for the role is : remote (#Li-Remote) with the preferred living location being in Houston, TX, Lake Mary, FL or Chicago, IL.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Design Excellence : Serves as technical lead, approves design deliverables, solves complex engineering challenges, and ensures compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards. Specializes in protection, controls, IEC 61850 networks, and power system analysis.
• Customer Engagement & Project Execution : Collaborates with customers to shape solutions, resolve technical issues, and support proposal development. Leads design reviews and ensures alignment with secure-by-design principles and contractual obligations.
• Knowledge Sharing & Process Improvement : Coaches peers, conducts design verification, and contributes to workshops. Develops and refines engineering tools and processes, ensuring compliance and suggesting improvements.
• End-to-End Project Support : Manages risk, contract compliance, planning, supply chain coordination, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning. Ensures deliverables meet project goals, timelines, and customer expectations.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan / annual bonus.
