Job Description : Position Details :

  • Pay : $22 Per Hour During Training; $65,000-$75,000 Annually After Training
  • Shift / Schedule : Local - Home Daily; Day Shift

  • Position Purpose :

    As a critical part of the food supply chain, our delivery drivers ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and in excellent condition. You will be the face of our company, building lasting relationships with our valued customers!

    The Driver will operate a tractor trailer or straight truck on both local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, delivering food and related products to customers while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members, ensuring timely responses and efficient service.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform safety checks (i.e., pre / post trip inspections) on tractor / truck and trailer as per DOT regulations, addressing any safety issues immediately.
  • Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies, reporting any hazards encountered.
  • Conduct count checks of items and verify customer invoices before loading.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly related to freight.
  • Drive to customer locations following the predetermined delivery schedule.
  • Unload products and transport them to the designated storage areas of the customer.
  • Inspect items for damage upon delivery and report as needed.
  • Verify delivery with the customer and obtain necessary signatures.
  • Collect payments where applicable.
  • Secure the trailer and ensure that all products are loaded correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the vehicle and loading areas.
  • Complete daily records of service hours in compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 12 months of commercial driving experience.
  • High school diploma / GED or state-approved equivalent.
  • Valid CDL-B license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • Passpost-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift and handle products weighing between 10 and 90 pounds.
