Position Overview

Coverage Schedule :

Clinic : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Night Call : 1 night per week, 5 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM

Non-Invasive Diagnostic Study Reading : Approximately 2 days per week

Reads 20 echocardiograms, 4 nuclear studies, and sees 8 clinic patients on reading days

Remaining 3 days : Strict clinic coverage

Patient Type : Assigned and Unassigned

Response Time : 20 minutes for call

EMR System : Cerner

Patients per Day : 11-18 clinic patients, plus diagnostic studies

Admissions Required : Yes

Facility : Hospital Stroke Certified, Trauma Level I

Clinical Expectations

Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology care

Interpret echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology studies

Respond to phone consults ( 3 / day)

Manage inpatient and clinic patient flow efficiently

Participate in night call coverage as assigned

Requirements

Board Certification : Cardiology - Required

Fellowship : Required

Active Montana License : Required

Certifications : BLS - Required
