Our Histology Technicians are responsible for performing all routine procedures in orienting, sectioning, and staining tissue specimens to produce slides which will aid pathologists in diagnosis requires teamwork to achieve common goals and meet deadlines to provide quality care to clients and patients. Additionally, the position (level II or higher) requires understanding of complex special procedures, techniques, principles, and theory and may support the supervisor in running the day-to-day operations of the histology department.

Schedule : (must be flexible to alter schedule, per operational and training needs)

Monday - Friday 5x8 schedule day hours (starting approximately 8 : 00 am - flexible start time per operational needs)

You Will : Level I

• Embed, cut, and stain tissue blocks according to designated procedures
• Maintains productivity standards

Microtomy 20 blocks / hour

Pay Range : $23.12 - $36.13 USD Hourl y (commensurate experience- the level hired depends on availability of level and proof of meeting certification / education requirements along with resume disclosing relevant experience.)

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Generally, new hire offers will be between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range, depending on experience (DOE), with the ability to grow within the range over time .
