Job Overview
Under the direction of a Cardiologist and Chief Radiologic Technologist, the Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist performs hemodynamic and imaging procedures in the Cardiology department. This role requires independent operation and monitoring of cardiac catheterization equipment, including telemetry, Impella, and IABP, ensuring high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging.

Duration : 13 Weeks
Location : Boston, MA
Weekly : $3450 TO $3,550 weekly
Full-Time, 40 hours / week (4 x 10-hour shifts, no set day off, evening and weekend on-call for emergencies)
Key Responsibilities :
Perform all duties related to cardiac catheterization and hemodynamic monitoring.
Independently read telemetry strips and maintain proficiency through continuing education.
Assist with radiologic operations and troubleshooting of equipment in the Cath Lab.
Complete daily calibration and maintenance of imaging and film processing equipment.
Assist in patient preparation for invasive cardiac procedures.
Document procedures and complete patient billing forms accurately.
Take evening and weekend emergency on-call shifts as required.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and professional standards.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, respecting cultural diversity.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Experience : 2-3 years Cath Lab experience, including Impella, telemetry, and IABP; Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred.
Certifications :
MA RT or RCIS license – Required
ACLS and BLS certifications – Required
Ability to independently read telemetry strips and pass a telemetry exam with 85% or higher on Day 1.
