What You'll Do

  • Work from process sheets, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
  • Machine and install or re-cut chuck jaws as required.
  • Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and perform machine setups.
  • Download and upload programs into machines, making minor programming adjustments.
  • Operate various computerized numerical controls to manufacture finished products.
  • Inspect own work for dimensions and maintain quality standards.
  • May operate multiple machines and rotate departments.
  • Enter data into the ERP system and load / unload component parts.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience operating CNC lathe and CNC mill machines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in machining.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting work instructions and blueprints in English.
  • Must pass a Machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude.

    • Salary, Shifts & Location

    Salary based on experience ranges from $23.00 to $33.00 per hour. This position is for 1st shift in our Downers Grove facility.
