Strategic Purchasing Analyst Principal - Electronic Assembly

Job Title

The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution - from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management. The Integrated Supply Chain team has a direct impact on program success, acting as a critical chain that links the end-to-end material flow together. What You'll Do :

• Procure materials, equipment, supplies, and services for complex aircraft electronics based on program-specific requirements and specifications.
• Develop subcontracts in accordance with specifications, requirements, work statements, and terms and conditions.
• Serve as the focal point for bid reviews, evaluating technical and cost proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, and selecting subcontractors based on best overall value.
• Consult with company staff to ensure subcontract awards align with legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests.
• Ensure accurate and timely receipt of subcontractor-submitted documents, including invoices and resolving invoice issues.
• Negotiate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts and support invoicing resolution
• Manage supplier performance, including cost, quality, technical, and delivery aspects, while building effective relationships with suppliers and internal / external customers.
• Identify supplier risk and opportunities to achieve program objectives; develop risk assessments, manage supplier risk through targeted negotiation strategies / plans in conjunction with the associated team / technical leads; lead contract negotiations.
• Develop subcontract management plans in conjunction with Category Management teams; determine contractual methodologies for supplier performance that align to the negotiated contractual baseline, such as delivery incentives, fee plans, and required supplier status meetings, programmatic reviews, etc.
• Follow established procurement policies and procedures to ensure best value for the program.
• Communicate subcontract performance internally and externally, prepare and present subcontractor briefings, and adopt best practices to support key business initiatives.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment : This position requires regular in-person engagement by working onsite three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Pay Information :

Full-Time Salary Range : $99410 - $168997 Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
