Step into a role as the Field Trip Onboarding & Safety Partner role, where in this role, you will be is responsible for leading the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of seasonal and field trip staff to ensure safe, well-executed programs. This position ensures compliance with licensing requirements and collaborates with leadership to align staffing with operational needs. It oversees scheduling, staffing logistics, and supports field operations through site visits, feedback, and emergency response. The role plays a key part in maintaining program quality, staff readiness, and policy adherence across all field trip experiences.

Responsibilities :
Depending on the line of business, the position may perform some or all of the below functions :
Responsible for managing a team, including recruitment, assessment and onboarding of new hires, talent development, performance management and separation.
Understands and executes licensing requirements to ensure company, city and state required policies for camps and / or childcare facilities as applicable are adhered to in the hiring and training process.
with Senior Team Lead and People Operations to determine the skills needed for Field trip leadership and staffing, provides feedback as necessary for program success.
Creates staff schedules and ensures each trip is fully staffed.
Visit field trips to observe operations, provide support, give feedback, and implement change; may need to travel and possibly lead field trips in the event of an emergency.
Ensures camp employees are following camp standards that are in compliance with health, safety and supervision protocols, company policies, state regulations and standards. Partners with leadership to address areas of safety concern or non-compliance to support with onboarding, training and staff development and employee procedures.
Monitors programs designated regularly to assess program quality, ensures documentation is up to date, and makes learning visible. Ensures the physical appearance of each camp and camp program aligns with Bright Horizons' standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Required
3 years Past experience managing across Operations, People, Customer Service and Financial / Budgetary functions - Require
Minimum 3 additional years of experience that would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree
Additional Job Requirements
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
Past experience managing across Operations, People, Customer Service and Financial / Budgetary functions
Experience working with vendors, sales, or event planning preferred

Salary / Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures :
The annual starting salary for this position is between $74,000- $82,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
