Electrical Engineer - Entry Level / Early Career Jacksonville, Florida, United States

CMA is hiring an entry level or early career Electrical Engineer. Candidates should be able to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities :

• Work on various aspects of electrical engineering design, plan preparation, permitting, and construction oversight while working in a project team environment.
• Contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; distribution, transmission, substation, protection & controls.
• Prepare project design drawings within MicroStation and / or AutoCAD.
• Develop project specific detail drawings.
• Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
• Assist with technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
• Learn and adhere to client-specific standards.
• Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
• Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and / or construction support.
• Handle project outlines, project initiation, project schedules, project executions, and project closeout.
• Interface with multi-disciplinary design teams.
