We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Finance Strategy with experience in the automotive or industrial sector. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability objectives. This role, within the commercial finance team, has high visibility to the entire Leadership Team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Model development : collaborate and lead teams to develop cohesive strategies on topics such as :
- Financial performance and optimization
- Market growth and segmentation
- Capital allocation decisions
- Operational productivity, performance, cost structuring and footprint
- Business analytics : Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Performance Improvement : Lead initiatives to improve financial performance, including cost reduction and margin improvement programs.
- Transaction and project support : work with leadership and corporate development teams to conduct financial and operational analysis during M&A transactions or Footprint decisions
- Lead financial analysis, valuation, and business case development for potential opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate synergies, risks, and return on investment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Tax, Operations, IT, etc.) to coordinate due diligence activities and integration planning.
- Prepare presentations and materials for senior management and the Board of Directors to support decision-making.
- Monitor and track the performance of completed transactions against original deal theses and integration objectives.
- Reporting : Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
Minimum Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred
Experience : 57 years of progressive related experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or a strong financial analysis track record within the automotive or industrial sectors.
