As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Flex in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense and more.

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and promptly report any observed incidents or concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials of personnel and visitors.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related threats in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Follow all armed post protocols and handle assigned equipment responsibly as required by Allied Universal and client guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles.
  • An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
