Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer (Events) to build and enhance foundational event and queuing services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable solutions using AWS services to process large volumes of events

Create toolkits and libraries to assist teams in interacting with the Events system

Contribute to data governance and improve existing code and processes

Required Qualifications

4+ years of software development experience, focusing on event / streaming systems

Experience with event architectures and technologies such as Kafka and Avro

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and Terraform

Strong background in programming languages like Python or Go

Experience with distributed data stores and cloud computing technologies
