Schedule 12-hour night shifts. Flexibility is required, as weekend coverage may be necessary. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a Level 1 Perinatal Center. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in maternal care and be able to provide high-quality support across all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Responsibilities Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Support nursery and postpartum care as needed. Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care for gynecological non-obstetrical patients. Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required; STABLE and AHA ACLS are preferred. New York RN license or proof of application with an applied date must be included in the application packet. Fetal Monitoring Certification and competencies appropriate for the nursing scope of practice are required. Experience in labor & delivery, nursery, and postpartum practices is essential.
