JOB TITLE : Off-Broadway Part Time Stage Door Attendant, New World Stages / Stage 42
WAGE : $21.00 per hour
SCHEDULED HOURS : The building is open 8am-12am Monday through Sunday
Typically 8hr shifts from 8am to 4pm or 4pm to midnight, with some fluctuation.
Must be available to work additional hours, including weekends, holidays and evenings if required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO :
Responsible for reception and security at the stage door of New World Stages / Stage 42.
Screen all tenants, clients, co-workers, visitors, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Maintain security at stage door, maintain records of access and key possession, and ensure compliance with safety, security, and service standards.
Respond to building issues in a timely matter, log detailed notes, and alert all the necessary parties to begin resolution.
Communicate between tenants, Front of House, and Facilities staff regarding schedule changes, building maintenance, etc.
Coordinate shipping and receiving of items and messages for tenants, clients, and NWS / S42 staff and maintain records reflecting activity.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and order of the Stage Door and storage closet.
Coordinate with Off-Broadway Security Coordinator and Off-Broadway Security Field Supervisor on any department needs.
Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with precision record logging skills.
Basic word processing skills.
Scheduling experience a plus.
Responsive and friendly disposition.
