Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs.

Assesses patients' needs and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions.

Works cooperatively with other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Observes and evaluates treatment effects and accomplishment of short- and long-term goals.

Recommends changes to physician if needed.

Description :

This position involves providing physical therapy to a diverse patient population.

Common diagnoses include neurological conditions such as CVA and Parkinson's, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic issues, cardiopulmonary conditions, amputation care, and medically complex cases.

Effective oral and written communication skills in English are important, and proficiency in additional languages is preferred.

The individual must demonstrate a cooperative attitude and a desire to be a team player.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
