Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A counseling opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support students social and emotional development. This contract position is based in Americus, GA, and extends through the school year (NSY). The role focuses on providing guidance, support, and intervention to help students navigate personal, academic, and social challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop support plans
• Implement programs that promote social skills, conflict resolution, and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of counseling activities
• Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities

This is a contract role for the duration of the school year. Candidates may be interviewed for the counselor position pertaining to Matts assignment.
