We are seeking a Bi-lingual Michigan licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities
Based in Hamtramck with ability to also work in Dearborn if neededExperience in working with people from various socioeconomic and cultural backgroundsDemonstrated ability to complete clinical assessments, treatment plans and quarterly reportsProvide mental health therapy for individuals, families, and childrenCreate individualized treatment plans for each clientUse evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatmentsMaintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment planResponsible for clinical record-keeping for each case assigned, remaining in compliance with procedural policies.Adhere to all facility and licensing standardsMaintain a client caseload set by the Program Director / SupervisorAttend and participate in clinical staff meetings to review and discuss treatment provided to clientsParticipate in, and complete, inservice programs and seminars to enhance skills and improve service deliveryWork effectively with other staff members as part of an interdisciplinary teamComplete and maintain valid and legitimate service activity logs and documentation.Engage in Peer Reviews and work in collaboration with supervisors / quality directorParticipates in continuing education training as assigned per fiscal yearAll other related duties / tasks as assignedFull or Part Time FlexibleSalary is based on case load and will fluctuateQualifications
Masters degree in counseling, social work, or psychologyCurrent and unrestricted license to practice in the State of MichiganPrevious experience as a mental health therapist preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified (or willing to be trained)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organizedBi-lingual in Arabic or Bengali & English
