Cardiology - Electrophysiology Physician

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology for Locum opportunity in Sioux City, IA. ( can accept BE / New graduates)

Start Date : As soon as credentialed! Schedule : Mon thru Fri; 8a-5p

Inpatient Responsibilities : Yes

Telehealth : Yes

Supervision of APP expected : Yes

Physician Nurse Ratio : 1 : 1

Ancillary Staff per Provider : 2 : 1

Exam Rooms per Provider : 5

Medical Imaging : Yes

Lab & Pharmacy : Yes

Clinic Provider Daily Volume : 20-25

Average Daily Hospital Practice Census : 10-20 cardiology patients

Appointment Length : 15 to 30 minutes appts

Demographics : Serving all of Siouxland and surrounding area Population is 100,000+

EMR : Cerner Powerchart

Teaching Opportunity : Internships and Preceptors

Job Responsibilities :

Clinic visits (new / established) Electrophysiology procedures, device monitoring (loopp, pacemakers, ICD) general call

In Clinic device transmissions and reprogramming

We have an EP PA who will assist with patient volumes.

On site and remote device transmissions

EP studies

ablations (afib, aflutter, svt, pvc, vt)

pacemaker / ICD / temp pacer / loop recorder insertions

gen changes

TEE

cardioversions

Requirements :

Board Certified - REQUIRED (can accept BE / New graduates)

Active IA License or Active IMLC (please upload LOQ) - REQUIRED

Fellowship Trained (Electrophysiology) - REQUIRED
