Overview

Title : IAD Overnight Lounge Cleaner

Pay Rate : 18.78 per hour

Pay Sequence : Weekly

Location : Dulles International Airport

Job Classification : Full Time, Non-Exempt

Shift : Must be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays for five consecutive days

  • 09 : 30 PM to 06 : 00 AM

Note : The onboarding process may take up to four weeks. Shift assignments are based on business needs and availability at the time of onboarding completion. While we strive to accommodate preferred shifts, availability cannot be guaranteed . Your flexibility will be appreciated.

  • Ability to work in a teamwork environment
  • Ensure the familiarity with all areas of the operation within the services area / location
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while complying with company’s expectations, rules and procedures
  • Ability to handle hazardous and sometimes significantly unpleasant conditions
  • Mop all hard service floor
  • Vacuum all carpets and mopping all floors
  • Dust all furniture and fixture
  • Clean bathrooms (male & female) removing garbage from receptacle and replenish all paper products.
  • Wash sink and hardware and backsplash. Clean / polish water cooler
  • Clean ticket counter, podium, tops, fronts, sides, stainless steel
  • Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, safety vest, ear plugs, and safety behavior actions inside and outside the aircraft.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and manners towards co-workers, clients and any other person within the airport and work location

  • Able to lift 70 pounds or more.
  • Able to move, bend, squat, walk, run quickly; sometimes within a small and / or narrow space and long distances as well.

    Finger Dexterity :

  • Uses the hands to be able to load, clean, drive, trash and grasp objects securely

    • Talking :

  • Bilingual and or English as must while being able to communicate face to face and / or by radio; often quickly , under pressure and with environment interference

    • Hearing :

  • Enough to maintain a conversation which would allow receiving information as well as instructions to be followed

    • Visual Abilities :

  • Acuity enough to enable to operate equipment / cleaning material

    • Language Skills / Ability :

  • Ability to communicate with people from different walks of life.

    • Reasoning Ability :

  • Ability to deal with a variety of variables under some standardization.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions

    • General Company Requirements :

  • Employee must comply with the Company’s management grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge / Airport ID at all times.
  • Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the Employee Handbook. These policies include, but are not limited to, the Company’s Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy. Employee must also comply with regulatory agency requirements, including, but not limited to, the ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and Federal, State, and Local authorities.

    • High school graduate or GED

    Ability to plan, organize, follow instruction

    Be able to lift, push and carry 70 lbs. or more

    Ability to work under pressure, stressful environment and time constraints

    Skills / Experience :

    Previous aviation industry experience preferred,

    Overall :

    Must meet all requirements to receive required airport badge, including the successful completion of a background check and drug test.
