Overview
A growing music school with two locations is seeking qualified Violin teachers for in-person beginning orchestra classes as an assistant and a sub for the 2024-2025 school year on Mondays through Friday mornings (7-8am) and Monday-Thursday afternoons (3-4pm).
Responsibilities
- Teach on-site, in-person violin lessons for beginning orchestra students as an assistant and substitute.
- Contribute to a team of effective and caring music educators to create a high-quality, engaging learning environment.
- Maintain consistent lesson schedules to support student growth and success.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or greater in a related field.Previous teaching experience is a plus.Ability to teach to the individual while meeting set goals for each student.Good people skills; works well with both children and adults and builds client relationships.Timely and reliable; consistent lessons are important to student growth and success.Good time management skills.Positive attitude during instruction with the ability to encourage and motivate students.Desire to collaborate with a team to create a high-quality, fun music education environment.Love of teaching; the desire to make teaching your career is a plus.Compensation & Benefits
Part-time employment; beginning hourly rate $40.00.Lessons are taught on site, in person.Benefits include dental insurance, paid time off, health insurance, and professional development assistance.Schedule & Work Location
Work Location : In person
Schedule : Monday to Friday availability, Saturdays.
