The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee payroll operations and benefits programs for their U.S. employee population. This is a highly visible role within the HR team, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about ensuring employees receive seamless, high-quality HR support. In addition to managing payroll and benefits, the individual will gain broad exposure to other areas of HR including compliance, systems, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process U.S. payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Administer employee benefit programs (health, retirement, wellness, and leave policies), ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolution.
• Partner with HR leadership and external vendors to optimize payroll and benefits processes, systems, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues on broader initiatives including compliance, compensation, HR systems, and employee engagement.
• Support annual processes such as open enrollment, benefits renewals, and year-end payroll activities.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and auditing of payroll and benefits programs.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
