Salary : $18.50 an hour

Pharmacy Technician - Full-time Monday through Friday

We are looking for a registered or certified pharmacy technician to work full-time in our Pharmacy. Hours will be scheduled Monday - Friday, between the hours of 9 : 00 am and 5 : 30 pm, no weekends, evenings or holidays. Great work atmosphere, working with a team serving our clinic patients.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Must hold full registered status or be a certified technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• 340B and APEXUS program knowledge is essential
• The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with both customers and health professionals
• The individual who is chosen will be responsible for maintaining the inventory of pharmacy items, preparing and storing medications, processing insurance claims, data entry and checking out customers
• Fill prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy
• Prepare prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
• Labels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels
• Participates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy
• Checks drugs and supplies, inventory counts, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory
• Communicates in-person or on the phone with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and clutter free environment in pharmacy
• Assists in the training of new employees
• Completes adherence and prescription pick up calls
• Addresses all patient concerns and needs in professional manner
• Attends designated departmental meetings as requested by pharmacist-in-charge
• Performs other tasks or duties as requested
