Position : Commercial Account Manager

Job Overview

The Commercial Lines Account Manager's primary function is to fulfill clients' needs by delivering prompt and precise service while supporting Risk Advisors.

Qualifications

3+ years of Account Management experience (desired)

Bachelor's degree (desired)

Maintain a Property / Casualty Agent's License

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and their design

Adaptable to various computer programs and agency procedures

Experience with EPIC and CSR24 is a plus

Skills in managing customer accounts, sales proposal development, contract drafting, team development, mentoring, delegation, marketing, and client interaction via phone

Responsibilities

Bind and issue new and renewal business policies

Create Master Certificate and Evidence of Property Templates

Market upcoming renewals to ensure clients receive optimal coverage and competitive premiums, utilizing online quoting as necessary

Prepare proposals for clients

Draft premium finance agreements upon client request

Ensure timely renewal of all policies

Gather all required documentation for insurance carriers

Process client requests via email, mail, and phone

Access and retrieve policy, billing, and account information through various carrier portals

Mentor Associate Managers and delegate tasks when appropriate

Proactively review account limits and recommend additional coverage as needed

Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the department manager
