The facility maintains 23 beds in the department and provides comprehensive maternal care in a supportive environment. Opportunity : ABMS Board Certification - Obstetrics and Gynecology This is an excellent opportunity for an OB / GYN physician looking for a hospitalist position in a well-established medical facility serving the Somerset community and surrounding areas. Job Details : OB / GYN Hospitalist position requiring 24-hour shifts on the unit Average of 8 patient encounters per shift Must have a Kentucky medical license Clean background check required BLS and PALS certifications required Required skills include management of low and high-risk pregnancies FHR interpretation (NST / CST / FSE) experience required Proficiency in OB ultrasounds (Level I / Screening and Level II / Targeted) Experience with amniocentesis procedures Ability to perform various delivery methods including vaginal, low forceps, and C-sections Experience with complicated deliveries including breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs Capable of repairing 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations Surgical gynecology skills required for open, laparoscopic, and operative procedures Candidates must be able to drive to the location (no airfare provided) Position starts ASAP and is ongoing Compensation : Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice insurance included.
