The position is a full-time, remote, Staff MLE with a client in the fin-tech market.

This is really more of a tech lead role where you will be leading big projects scaling the AI / ML capabilities. A lot of the position is reworking the system and making sure it's constantly being improved. What they're looking for is someone with extensive experience (at least 8 years) pushing AI / ML models into production rather than doing more model development since they have a data engineering team for that. The languages they use are python and sql, so expert level coding abilities with that is crucial since they will test for both in their technical rounds. Also, ability to be creative and come up with new ways ideas for their products is something they'd like to see. An intersection between product and user experience is the most important focus on the role. Experience optimizing LLMs is a plus as well.

Main tools : Python, SQL, ML frameworks / tools (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras), LLMs, Gen-AI, RAG
