Job Summary :

KLM Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our dedicated team. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, we provide comprehensive heating and cooling solutions for both residential and commercial clients. Our technicians are expected to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities :

  • Service and Maintenance

Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment including heating units, cooling units, and duct systems.
  • Installations

    • Install new HVAC units and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes.

  • Ensure proper setup and functioning of newly installed systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Customer Interaction

    • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues, repairs, and recommendations to enhance system performance.

  • Provide exemplary customer service to ensure client satisfaction and establish lasting relationships.
  • Safety and Compliance

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing HVAC services.

  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and materials used during installations and repairs.
  • Team Collaboration

    • Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and support staff to achieve team goals.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skillset and knowledge of industry standards.
  • Education :

    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC systems is preferred.

  • Experience :

    • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role, with a focus on both residential and commercial systems.

  • Journeyman HVAC license required.
  • Skills :

    • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to assess HVAC system malfunctions quickly and accurately.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete service calls in a timely manner.
  • Other Requirements :

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Dependability and a positive attitude are essential attributes.
