Medical Assistant

A Medical Assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. A Medical Assistant will be responsible for communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions. Shift details include 36 hours / week, full time. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-7 : 00pm, and Saturdays. Schedule will be within clinic hours Monday-Friday and will require a rotating Saturday shift up to 3 times per year. The unit is South Ogden Family Medicine. • Providing patient care under the direction of the clinician, assisting the provider to gather information that is relevant to the patient's visit and condition.
• Communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.
• Working with cross functional teams to collaborate on patient care. Attention to detail and follow-through are key components in helping to provide the care that is needed.
