- Demonstrate leadership qualities aligned with the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.\n
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver quality care, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.\n
- Identify and address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.\n
- Administer medications and treatments following appropriate protocols, while closely monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.\n
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided.\n
- Assess educational needs and provide relevant information to patients, family members, and caregivers.\n\nJob Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills\n
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.\n\nExperience\n
- Preferred : 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n
- BLS certification required.\n
- Active RN License in the state of employment or compact required.\n\nPosition Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills\n
- Newly hired experienced RNs must participate in New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.\n
- All new hires will be precepted by an assigned staff member with required competency validation.\n
- Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or other orientation processes.\n
- Complete annual competency verification requirements.\n\nExperience\n
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n
- Current ACLS certification required.\n\nCredential Grace Periods apply based on experience : \n
- Experienced Associate : One year of acute care clinical experience considered.\n
