We are an early stage startup backed by top investors, building an innovative payments platform for merchants. We help merchants save money on payments fees, engage highly loyal customers, and focus on building delightful experiences.

We’re looking to grow our founding team with a product-minded engineer interested in working across the stack to build next generation payment infrastructure.

About you

• Based in the SF Bay Area (and excited about working closely in-person with a tight-knit team!)
• Innately curious and brave enough to consider new payment paradigms or verticals for applications, can navigate low information environments
• Execution oriented, excited by the high-ownership nature of joining a team at this stage
• Interested in building a top class engineering culture from the ground up
• Appreciates and looks for elegant solutions but understands trade-offs of robust designs / engineering vs. moving fast
• Experience building fast, reliable cloud applications

We’re hiring in the SF / Bay Area with the intention of having a physical office space soon. The goal is a few days a week co-located to start, with snacks, coffee, and meals to entice the return to sitting at a desk around colleagues : ) We think half the fun of this stage of building is the camaraderie, standing around a whiteboard, and codifying the culture together.
