Summary

The Senior Engineer I – Mobility is responsible for the design, deployment, and administration of mobile device management (MDM) solutions, primarily using Jamf for Apple devices and Microsoft Intune for Windows and Android. This role ensures the secure and efficient management of mobile and macOS endpoints, aligning with enterprise security policies and compliance requirements. Additionally, this engineer acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in MDM and macOS management, leads technical projects, and provides mentorship to junior specialists.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Education :   Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Years of Experience :   Minimum five (5) years of experience in endpoint management and desktop administration.

• Advanced expertise with Jamf Pro for macOS and iOS device management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows and Android device management.
• Strong knowledge of Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Google Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
• Experience with mobile application deployment, compliance policies, and security configurations.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and conditional access policies.
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and M365 endpoint security policies.
• Basic scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, mobile networking protocols).

Office / IT - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. May be required to work various shifts / days in a 24 hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
