THE ROLE

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a / an Data Scientist Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

We're seeking a curious and driven Data Scientist Co-op to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for students who want to apply their analytical skills to real-world manufacturing and metrology challenges. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and scientists to develop models, analyze data, and improve processes that impact product quality and performance.

What You'll Do

• Analyze large datasets from manufacturing and metrology systems to identify trends and anomalies
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support process optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
• Automate data pipelines and reporting tools using Python, SQL, or similar technologies
• Document findings and present results to engineering and leadership teams
