Registered Dietician

Villa at Silverbell Estates is seeking a Registered Dietician to join their team! The Registered Dietician is responsible for providing nutritional meals per patients / resident care plan, including planning patient meals, providing direction for nutritional therapy, and documenting patient intake.

Registered Dietician Duties and Responsibilities :

• Understands and follows nutritional requirements for population, as learned in formal educational training.
• Provides diet instruction and counseling to residents and their families.
• Collaborates with nursing, medical, social services and other interdisciplinary staff to determine further plans of care, both at and between scheduled care conferences.
• Supports the kitchen in menu development and approving appropriate menu substitutions as needed.
• Follows resident assessment, care plan, and charting requirements.
• Plans patient meals and completes required paperwork / updates computer systems to communicate plans to other staff.
• Properly stores and handles food, maintains temperature and temperature logs.
• Ensures kitchen safety and disaster preparedness.
• Analyzes and monitors patient data to determine patient needs or treatment goals.
• All other duties, as assigned.
