Montech Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the role of Security Guard III to provide security services in Albuquerque, NM. The principal objective of this PWS is to provide Guard services for the facility during operational hours. These Services include but are not limited to perimeter patrols, parking lot monitoring, and assisting the public at entrance of facility. The purpose of Security Guard services is to provide a deterrent from criminal and inappropriate behavior on facility grounds which improves facility safety and increases awareness of changing security threats.

Place of Performance

The Security Guard III will provide physical security service at a government facility located in NE Albuquerque, NM.

Hours of Operation

The Security Guard III will perform duties Monday through Friday from 08 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM MT except weekends and Federal Holidays.

Summary of Responsibilities

The Security Guard III shall maintain an alert and professional posture providing a secure and safe lobby area, except when patrolling the facility grounds or responding to an incident. The Security Guard III shall :

• Maintain an alert and professional posture providing a secure and safe lobby area, except when patrolling the facility grounds or responding to an incident.
• Personnel shall remain alert and immediately respond to security concerns or threats using their best judgment in each individual situation and coordinate with law enforcement and agency, as needed.
• Personnel shall prepare a daily log containing the following information :

Summarizing activities performed throughout the day.

Qualifications

The Security Guard III shall :

Employment is contingent upon the ability to pass the pre-employment drug test and a federal security background investigation to obtain the required security clearance level per the U.S. Government agency (example : Public Trust, Secret, Top Secret, L, or Q level).

Applicants must be a US Citizen to work in support of Federal agency. The background investigation reviews employment, criminal, financial, and personal history to ensure there are no outstanding violations. Any notification from Government to Montech notifying that the employee has compromised the security requirements will warrant immediate termination from employment.

Professionalism, Responsiveness, and Quality

The Security Guard III must demonstrate the following abilities : Sound judgment, foresight, and problem solving skills, possess excellent oral and written communications, and customer service skills, able to adapt to fast-paced work / office environment with accuracy under pressure, demonstrated competency managing schedules, documentation, and automated systems, demonstrate leadership, excellent research and data gathering skills and ability to interpret / analyze complex information, ability to work independently within the bounds and guidelines of the contract requirements and client, knowledge of and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work and communicate with diverse group of customers and clients within and outside the Federal Government. All personnel are required to wear the prescribed uniform while on duty. They shall maintain a clean and neat appearance and not wear dirty or wrinkled clothing. Uniforms will be sized correctly for each employee and not show signs of excessive wear. The goal is to present a positive image to the public.

The Security Guard III must present a professional demeanor at all times while on site. The Security Guard III shall treat all persons with courtesy and respect; striving to earn positive feedback of customers.

Any notification from Government to Montech notifying that the employee has compromised the security requirements will warrant immediate termination from employment on the contract.
