CDL Relief Delivery Driver / Warehouse - Redding CA

Get Forklift certified and training on stock moving equipment.

Primary duties :

Employee will work in a “rover” position, helping in the warehouse or relief driving depending on daily Operations needs

Assist warehouse team in other areas like receiving when possible and stock placement in designated locations

Operate forklift, cherry picker and electric pallet jacks.

Pull customer orders, receive / ship out deliveries

Plan your daily delivery route and / or transfer stock from our Sacramento division back to Redding

Review customer orders and pick stock in the warehouse and load onto the truck to match your delivery route.

Visit customer locations, unload stock and place in an appropriate location.

Assist customers with changes in order size, back orders and new products by informing sales representatives.

Your safety is important and proper safety procedures should be followed.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications :

CDL Class A required. 21+ and clearing house qualifications.

Clean driving records and valid medical card required.

Experience driving a truck or tractor trailer.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities :

Be adaptable to changes such as routes or schedules, Read and follow the GPS or road map.

Customer service orientation; good public relations skills.

Can work without direct supervision.

Having warehouse knowledge preferred.

o       Meet company and regulatory driving record requirements.

Move stock using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.

Working Conditions :

Warehouse, customer location and truck cab environment.

Subject to seasonal weather and local traffic conditions,

Overtime may be available.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds waist high on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds with team lift on an occasional basis.
