Job Title : Mental Health Therapist

Required work experience and skills :

• 1-3 years of work experience in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 25 hours / week, including 2 evenings and 2 Saturdays / month
• Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy
• Prepares and maintains current and accurate case notes, staffing, and therapy reports.
• Stay informed on trends and best practices in mental health
• Attend supervision, team meetings, and training programs
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation
• Aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary.
• Comfortable diagnosing, developing a treatment plan, and carrying out evidence-based interventions with clients experiencing a variety of mental health issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive work culture
• Comfort and experience using secure online platforms for video-based clients.
• Experience with adolescents and / or young adults
• Use evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, or EMDR

Education and Licenses :

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field

Valid Illinois license (LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)

2+ years of experience in mental health counseling

Strong communication skills and cultural competence

Willingness to work evenings and weekends as scheduled

Pay :

We offer a  guaranteed base salary of $35,000  along with a  competitive percentage split  of the revenue you generate through client sessions. Most full-time therapists at our practice earn an average of  $72,800 to $80,000 per year , with opportunities for even higher earnings based on client load and availability.
