Job Description : JOB SUMMARY

This Position Requires Experience in Translating Documents from English to Spanish

Responsible for the production or translation of client-facing materials, including Benefit Booklets and SBCs, to ensure favorable group relations and to conform to the Plan's legal requirements and state mandates. Gathers benefit information; prepares, customizes / writes and translates as required. Edits, proofreads and distributes documents in a timely and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interact with account managers and company officials regarding benefit designs, benefit programs, interpretation / translation of booklet language, state and federal mandated benefits, underwriting rules and regulations, legal matters, and rate and rating methods as they apply to group documents.
  • Document Production - Gather and verify benefit information. Customize / translate language as required. Edit and proofread documents. Distribute documents through proper channels.
  • Internal Customer Support - Serve as a consultant to account managers and company officials regarding; Benefits, benefit programs, product lines, interpretation of booklets, SBCs and contract language, state and federal mandated benefits, underwriting rules and regulations.
  • Benefit Review, Verification and Translation - Verify correctness and completeness of data. Ensure accuracy of translated information to be incorporated into documents within scope of the Document Solutions team.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of experience in Translating Documents from English to Spanish
  • Microsoft Office Experience (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

    Pay Range Minimum : $26.49

    Pay Range Maximum : $41.03

    Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
