Pediatric Cardiology Specialist opening in MichiganFull-Time positionThere are teaching opportunities with residents and medical students.Position Highlights : Candidate will join two other established Pediatric Cardiologists and one APP to provide both inpatient and outpatient careCandidate will provide pediatric cardiac care including diagnosis and management of cardiac problemsResponsibilities include transthoracic echocardiogram reads, ambulatory electrocardiography reads, general outpatient cardiology care, and consult services for inpatient teams. Fetal echocardiography available but not required. We partner with regional academic centers for interventional -cardiology services and cardiac surgery.' Support includes experienced echo technician coverage 24 / 7.Qualifications : BC / BE Fellowship Trained in Pediatric CardiologyCurrent unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of MichiganStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered careAbout the Hospital : A designated children s hospital recognized by NACHRI and offers a full range of pediatric subspecialties.Provides support for the following pediatric subspecialties : Hematology / Oncology, GI, PICU, Surgery, Neurology, Urology, and moreIn-Hospital Specialists, Specialty Services, and Pediatric and Neonatology Support ServicesA Level III Perinatal Center, 34-bed Pediatric Unit, a 45-bed NICU and an 8-bed PICU with a 4-bed step down unit.
