Shift Information :

8 hr shifts M-F; 0630-1500 and / or 0900-1730; call opportunity available, but not required

🔍 Position Summary (Core Role)

A Surgical Technologist (or OR Technician) working under supervision in the Operating Room (OR) to support surgeons and nurses during procedures. They help maintain sterile fields, manage surgical tools, anticipate surgical team needs, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

✅ Essential Job Functions

Set up sterile fields, prepare surgical tools, and perform scrubbing, gowning, and gloving.

Pass instruments to surgeons, manage surgical counts (sponges, sharps).

Clean / sterilize instruments, document properly, and assist with cleanup.

Follow infection control protocols and report equipment issues.

Stay current with new procedures and technology.
