Position Overview :

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking  Food Prep Assistant  to support our kitchen team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen, and helping our chefs deliver high-quality meals. Key Responsibilities :

• Ingredient Prep : Chop, slice, dice, and prepare various ingredients like vegetables, fruits, meats, and herbs.
• Organizing Supplies : Keep ingredients well-organized, labeled, and stored properly in the kitchen.
• Supporting Cooks : Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks like mixing, stirring, and assembling dishes.
• Cleaning & Sanitizing : Maintain cleanliness of prep areas and kitchen tools, ensuring everything meets food safety standards.
• Inventory Support : Help track inventory and alert the kitchen manager when supplies are low or need restocking.
• Portioning Ingredients : Measure and portion food accurately according to recipes to ensure consistency.
• Food Safety : Follow all food handling, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
• General Assistance : Pitch in where needed, whether it's helping with cooking, plating, or finishing touches on dishes.
