Travel Heavy Equipment Operator

Equipment : Scraper operators and Haul Truck operators

Location : Projects in New Mexico and Indiana

Type : Contract to Hire

Schedule : MondayFriday, 6AM6PM (occasional Saturdays)

Overtime : 2035 hours / week

A well-known civil construction company is hiring experienced heavy equipment operators for travel work across multiple states. This is a solid opportunity to earn great money, rack up overtime, and work with a crew that gets the job done.

Pay & Benefits

  • $28$35 / hour , depending on experience and equipment skills
  • $830 / week per diem
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Weekly pay
  • Long-term potential with contract-to-hire

Job Duties

  • Operate tractors (Fendt preferred), dozers, excavators, and motor graders
  • Handle earthwork : cuts, fills, haul roads
  • Perform equipment inspections before and after shifts
  • Work closely with other operators and site crews
  • Follow all safety protocols

    • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in civil or commercial construction
  • Skilled in grading, earthmoving, and operating rollers, discs, and box blades
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Must be able to travel and work outdoors in all conditions

    • Work Conditions

  • Outdoor construction sites, often on converted farmland
  • Fast-paced, high-activity environment
  • Professional conduct required on site
