Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments of patients with pain-related conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Prescribe medications and perform therapeutic procedures as needed within scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options, pain management techniques, and health maintenance strategies.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and patient feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment protocols.

Requirements

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty area.
  • Strong understanding of pain management principles and practices.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
